Welcome to Boston

I was in Boston a few months ago and while waiting on my ferry back to my hotel in Salem I spotted something out of the norm. In the sea of trash and shit was a big ass dead rat just floating in the water.

The only thing that bothered me was did it drown or did it die from the toxicity of the water...
